inlingua Wiesbaden provides preparation specifically for German language exams on the basis of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. At our Inlingua Training Center in Wiesbaden, we offer both the inlingua In-House exams as well as the TELC European language certificates.

German - Grunstufenprüfung (GD) - Basic Level Exam

The Grundstufenprüfung (Basic Level Exam) in German, documents successful completion of a basic level of german ability,  demonstrating German language skills at Level A2 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. While the exam is open to all of our course participants, we also gladly accept external candidates.

Zertifikat Deutsch als Fremdsprache (ZDaF) - Certificate in German as a Foreign Language

The Zertifikat Deutsch als Fremdsprache (Certificate in German as a Foreign Language) documents the successful completion of intermediate level of German language ability, demonstrating language skills at Level B1 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. While the exam is open to all of our course participants, we also gladly accept external candidates.

Mittelstufenprüfung Deutsch (MD) - German Intermediate Exam

The inlingua Mittelstufenprüfung Deutsch (Intermediate Level Exam in German) is recognised by numerous Universities (for example the Johann Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main) as proof of a sufficient level in the German language, which students are required to have when applying to University. Its contents are tailored to the nationwide standardised exam DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber, or German language exam for university acceptance of foreign student applicants) as determined by the University Rectors' Conference.

The exam includes:

A written portion (about 3 hours), consisting of sections for:

  • comprehension and written processing of an audio text
  • comprehension and written processing of a reading text
  • written work i.e. essays, summaries
  • grammar and  

 

An oral Exam

While the Intermediate Exam is open to all of our course participants, we also gladly accept external candidates.
